Recipe for Making Strawberry Milk Tea

Strawberry milk tea

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 cup black tea, brewed and cooled
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

  1. Prepare Strawberry Syrup:
    • In a blender, blend the fresh strawberries until smooth.
    • Transfer the blended strawberries to a small saucepan and add sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens into a syrup-like consistency. This usually takes about 5-7 minutes.
    • Remove from heat and let the strawberry syrup cool.
  2. Brew Black Tea:
    • Brew a cup of black tea according to the package instructions. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
  3. Mix Strawberry Milk Tea:
    • In a glass, combine the brewed black tea, strawberry syrup, and milk. Stir well to combine. Adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if needed.
  4. Add Ice:
    • Add ice cubes to the glass to chill the strawberry milk tea.
  5. Serve:
    • Give the drink a final stir before serving.
    • Optionally, you can garnish the drink with fresh strawberry slices.
  6. Enjoy:
